Identity and contact details of the data controller
In accordance with data protection legislation (in particular the Federal Data Protection Act, DPA, and the Federal Ordinance on Data Protection, DPO), the personal data of applicants will be processed by:

Purposes of the processing
Personal data will be processed for the following main purposes:
Register and update employment contracts and personnel files
Process pay rolls and provide social declarations
Evaluate staff performance
Develop AET staff
Communicate to employees
Communicate with insurance companies (e.g. SUVA), respectively manage other insurance contracts
Planning the organisational structure and resources
Manage IT resources, IT security, user accounts, authorisations, messaging systems and telephones Record user data of AET information systems (data from Windows system / user PCs, etc.).
Record telephone calls concerning employees active in the area of commerce, production and electrical grid management, for the purpose of proof of communication.
Manage the website and intranet
Manage the operation of the infrastructure
Manage the governance and legal structure of AET
Comply with compliance obligations related to internal rules or regulations (e.g. declarations of confidentiality)
Perform internal and external audits
Manage the vehicle fleet
Manage security and access to buildings
Organise internal or external events
Pay the monthly dues to the trade union (in the case of a collective labour agreement)
Handle intra-company communications concerning e.g. recruitment or jubilees
Profiling / Automated individual decisions
No profiling techniques are used and no automated individual decisions are made.
Categories of recipients of personal data and transmission of personal data abroad
AET does not disclose data to third parties, except in the context of software maintenance by external consultants, who may be based in Switzerland, Italy or Germany, and who offer adequate security guarantees.
Transfers only take place to countries and companies that provide an adequate level of protection.
Data retention period
Depending on the specific processing and in accordance with the DPA and legal obligations, employee data is stored for a maximum of 10 years after the end of the employment contract.
