Identity and contact details of the data controller
In accordance with data protection legislation (in particular the Federal Data Protection Act, DPA, and the Federal Ordinance on Data Protection, DPO), the personal data in the area of video surveillance will be processed by:
Azienda Elettrica Ticinese (AET), El Stradún 74, 6513 Monte Carasso (Data Controller).
Purposes of the processing
Personal data will be processed for the following main purposes:
- Security of buildings and installations / prevention of damage or theft to AET installations and infrastructure.
- Surveillance of access to AET infrastructures
- Ensuring the operation of installations
Profiling / Automated individual decisions
No profiling techniques are used and no automated individual decisions are made.
Categories of recipients of personal data and transmission of personal data abroad
AET does not disclose the data to third parties, except in the case of civil, criminal or administrative proceedings, the video recordings may be transmitted to the competent authorities to the extent that this is necessary as evidence. Personal data of third parties not involved in the proceedings are rendered anonymous.
Data retention period
- Video surveillance recordings may be retained for a maximum period of 10 days.
- The retention of a copy of the video recordings in the event of civil, criminal or administrative proceedings is reserved until the proceedings are concluded.
